Fantasy Football - Javon Walker: Out for the year. How will this effect Favre?

Javon Walker - Out for the rest of the season; torn ACL.

This is the biggest fantasy football loss of the year thus far. Many people expected Javon to cement his status as an elite receiver this season. Those who drafted him in the 2nd or 3rd round will have to scramble to find a replacement. Donald Driver will become Brett Favre's primary passing target in an offense that struggled in week one. While Driver's value as a receiver may increase with this unfortunate promotion, Favre's value as a quarterback may decrease. Green Bay faces a Cleveland Browns defense next week that was lit up by the Cincinnati Bengals in week one. Their performance in this game could be a good indicator as to how well this offense will be able to put up points for the rest of the season. If Green Bay can light it up the way Cincinnati did, Brett Favre owners should be able to feel more confident starting him for the rest of the season.
