Fantasy Football - Top Performers from NFL week 3

Week 3 saw some big performances - here are a few of the highlights.

Quarterback

1. Dante Culpepper - 21/29 for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns - This should quiet the critics for a while.

2. Drew Bledsoe - 24/38 for 363 yards and 2 touchdowns, 2 int, 1 rushing touchdowns - Bledsoe continues to perform well in the Cowboys offense.

3. Mark Bulger - 21/28 for 292 yards and 3 touchdowns, 1 int - The greatest show on turf pulls out a nice win against the Titans.

Wide Receiver

1. Steve Smith - 11 receptions for 170 yards and 3 touchdowns - Steve Smith is back this year in a big way.

2. Torry Holt - 9 receptions for 163 yards and 1 touchdown - Still one of the best in the game.

3. Brandon Lloyd - 4 receptions for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns - Lloyd is emerging as a consistent threat this season.

Running Back

1. Shaun Alexander - 140 rushing and 4 touchdowns - Showed why he's a top pick every year.

2. Brian Westbrook - 68 yards rushing for 1 touchdown, 6 catches for 140 yards and 1 touchdown - This guy can put up points in so many different ways.

3. Julius Jones - 85 yards rushing for 2 touchdowns, 4 catches for 28 yards - He hasn't put up huge yardage yet, but he's making up for that with touchdowns.

Tight End

1. Jason Witten - 6 receptions for 85 yards and 1 touchdown - Witten returns to last years form to help Dallas beat the 49ers.

2. Ernie Conwell - 3 catches for 65 yards and a touchdown - Nice game for Ernie.

3. Courtney Anderson - 5 catches for 100 yards - 2 good games out of 3 for Anderson, he may still be available in your league.
