Fantasy Football League - Jamal Lewis vs. Domanick Davis

Which running back would you rather have on your fantasy football team: Domanick Davis or Jamal Lewis?

A lot of draft boards have Davis and Lewis ranked pretty close to one another. So which player should you pick.

My choice would certainly have to be Domanick Davis. The reason is simple; he catches more passes. Last year Davis caught 68 passes. Lewis only caught 10 passes in 12 games last year.

Now I know that Jamal Lewis can put up some monster rushing games. But week in and week out, Domanick Davis is going to be the more consistent player. If Lewis gets shut down rushing the ball, he has no other way to score points. However, if Davis has a poor rushing day, he can make up for it by catching 5 or 6 passes.

Consistency is important in fantasy football. The more weeks you can put up a high point total, the better chance you have of winning every game.

My RB choice would be Domanick Davis because I value his consistency.
