Fantasy Football - Holmes Continues to Struggle - Will LJ Overtake Him?

Larry Johnson outperformed Priest Holmes again last night, gaining 21 yards on 5 carries vs. Holmes 13 yards on 6 carries. Holmes has looked very unimpressive in the last 2 preseason games. I know that it's only the preseason, but I think it's fair to ask if Priest's injury is still bothering him. After the first exhibition game, Priest claimed that his health was at about 75-80%. He certainly hasn't looked like he's 100% since then.

If this continues, I think the Chiefs will have to consider giving running back Larry Johnson more playing time. There is talk that they will currently split the running back duties 70-30 in favor of Holmes. But if LJ continues to outperform Holmes in the regular season, then I think it won't be long before he becomes the new starter for the Kansas City Cheifs. If you drafted Priest Holmes on you fantasy football team and you failed to pick up Larry Johnson as well, then you may be in some trouble at running back.
