Detroit Lions backup QB Jeff Garcia suffered a broken leg during the Lions preseason game with the Buffalo Bills. He may miss the entire season.
The Lions signed Garcia in the offseason to backup and potentially replace the inconsistent Joey Harrington. Early rumors suggested that the Lions had Harrington on a tight leash. It looks like that leash was just loosened a bit. Barring any injury, Harrington should be the Lions QB for the entire season. If he lives up to his potential, he could be a good fantasy football player on what appears to be a loaded Lions offense.
