Fantasy Football - How Long Will Willie Parker's Run Last: Keep or Trade

Those of you that were quick enough to pick up Willie Parker off of the waiver wire have been enjoying his huge numbers the last two weeks. But with Duce Staley set to contribute this week and Jerome Bettis coming back eventually, is Big Willie's run coming to an end? Should you sell high or keep him?

This is always a tough call. If your fantasy football team is deep at the running back position, Parker could be used to shore up your team at quarterback or wide receiver. This may not be a bad choice.

But I think Parker is here to say. Cower is standing behind him as the starter, and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that Parker will remain the starter no matter how healthy Bettis and Staley are. Pittsburgh is a team that is built to run, and if Parker starts for the entire season, he could end up being one of the top producing running backs in the league. Plus, you can never have too many good running backs in fantasy football. Injuries and bye weeks can take a toll on your fantasy team throughout the season, and a good bench can win your team a lot of games.
