New England Patriots WR Wes Welker has a great opportunity to accomplish what Brandon Stokely did for the Indianapolis Colts 2 years ago as a WR3............1000 yards receiving. The speedy Welker had a great breakout season last year with the Dolphins catching 67 footballs for 687 yards and a touchdown.
This year he will have the field wide open with Randy Moss and Donte Stallworth covering the ends. Look for Welker to open up frequently in the middle. Welker may not be an every week fantasy football starter, but he is a great player to have on the bench and may prove to be a consistent weekly threat with Tom Brady throwing to him.
